First Queer Crush is a collection of stories paired with a photo essay in which LGBT individuals recount their first queer crush and the emotions that accompanied the feelings in relation to their families and upbringing. This collection attempts to normalize these feelings for young people experiencing them for the first time and help heterosexual loved ones gain a better understanding of how they affect others.
